Tight End Play in the Wing-TeThe tight end in the wing-t offense is a key role that requires him to be a versatile athlete on the field. It is required that the Tight End be and excellent blocker and receiver. He must possess offensive line mentality. He is also required to release into routes against defensive backs that are quicker and faster. By executing their responsibilities as a receiver and blocker , the tight end int he wing-T offense must be versatile and have the ability to adapt during the execution of a game.
